A light weight flywheel is the easiest and most ecomomical way to increase a car's performance. This weight difference allows a vehicle's engine to use much more of its available horse power.

Note: Fitting a lightened flywheel will make the engine rev up faster, but also return to idle quicker and may cause chatter on idle.
